🏆 Sports Recap

Dallas Mavericks: The Mavs kept their playoff hopes alive with a 120-106 win over the Kings on Wednesday in the West play-in game. Anthony Davis led the way with 27 points and 9 rebounds, while Klay Thompson added 23. Dallas now faces the Grizzlies on Friday for the No. 8 seed and a shot at the Thunder in the first round.
Dallas Stars: The Stars dropped their seventh straight on Wednesday, falling 5-1 to the Predators in their regular-season finale. Jason Robertson exited in the second period with a lower-body injury, casting doubt on his playoff availability. Dallas enters the postseason second in the Central and will face Colorado in Round 1.
Texas Rangers: Texas fell 3-1 to the Mariners on Sunday, getting swept in Seattle. Cal Raleigh homered for the third straight game, while the Rangers' offense struggled to capitalize on opportunities. They’ll look to bounce back Tuesday when they open a series against the Angels.

Aw Shucks & Big Shucks

Aw Shucks and Big Shucks (same owner) are Dallas staples serving up raw oysters, fried catfish, crab legs and more seafood favorites
Right now, it's all about the crawfish! Served Louisiana-style and tossed with your choice of seasoning—original, spicy garlic, lemon pepper, or all of the above—these mudbugs have earned them the title of "Best Crawfish in Dallas" by the Dallas Observer.
Whether you're peeling crawfish on the patio or diving into a shrimp po' boy, it's a messy, delicious experience.
If you're craving a laid-back seafood spot with serious flavor, Aw Shucks and Big Shucks are going to deliver. They’ve been around since 1983 after all.
🤔 Dallas Fast Fact
There’s a hidden waterfall in the city.
Tucked away in Oak Cliff’s Boulder Park is a legit little waterfall—a rare natural one for Dallas. It’s a nice quiet escape if you want to feel like you’ve left the city.. without actually leaving.
